Cap fits as original, but gasket is loose
The primer bulb and gas cap assembly fit the gas tank on my Homelite 10734R chainsaw. The old primer bulb had split from old age. The new cap fit perfectly. The new gasket that came with the new cap is loose and falls off the cap when I try to install it. I will either have to glue it into the cap, or set it on the lip of the gas tank opening before screwing the cap down. Despite the information stating I would need a new gas hose to fit the nipple, my original gas hose was snug on the nipple, so I didn't have to replace it. A couple of primes and the saw fired right up. It's nice to have my 25+ year old chainsaw running again. The new cap/bulb came with a replacement bulb assembly. It appears to be easy to replace with simple hand tools. Not cutting or breaking apart the new capo will be required to install the replacement bulb. Mark, Yes you are correct the gasket is loose. We have been trying to update this issue but we are apprehensive to use any type of glue due to the fact that it might fail and drop in the gas and cause fuel problems. We use the same cap locally for our customers and we find that with a little time the gasket will stay snug. Thank you for your review The Sawzilla Team

If fit my Super 2 Homelite
I took a gamble and ordered this part even though my saw was a different model number. It still fit mine for a part that is no longer available and a manufacturer that no longer exists. Saved the saw which was headed to the junk yard.
