Proline piston kit for stihl 009, 36mm.
Bought this kit to repair my Stihl 009 with 30 plus years of use. New piston was ten thousands of an inch smaller than my old worn out one so I only used the pin and rings. My apologies for the piston. I see you purchased a 36mm. We also stock a 38mm in our warehouse. Please reach out to us so we can provide you with the larger size. 010 Piston replacement
This is a suitable alternative to an original part and will fit 09 and 010 machines. It will not fit a 011 having a larger 38mm bore. The skirt is roughly finished but the wall thickness looks greater than on an original. The kit comes with all the parts needed to fit this piston but I will change the eared clips to plain C for extra security.
