ignition coil for stihl ms 270
Don't waste your time with the cheap Chinese coils on E-bay and Amazon! I bought one and the engine broke up at high speed. It must have a rev limiter in . It didn't last long so I thought is was defective. I bought another. Same junk different seller. It lasted even less time. Finally got a proline and it is worth the few extra $. Saw runs good as new and revs up to full power! I will go to sawzilla from now on!

Ignition coil for stihl ms280
Being a DIYer I did a lot utubeing and researching trying to diagnose why my ms280 just stopped working after doing a full tuneup it came down to the ignition coil. From there getting one from a dealership was nearly a 100.00 and the cheap ones on amazon had too many bad reviews. Found this one on sawzilla and had great reviews along with a very reasonable price. I checked and double for exact fit and checked again when it arrived ( was amazed how quickly it shipped ) before opening the package because you can’t return it after opening. I installed it, reassembled the chainsaw and it started right up on the second pull, Awesome!!!

Put the coil in, adjusted it, saw started right up. Tested just fine using grounded spark plug.
