Proline® Tune up Kit For Stihl 028, Wood Boss, 028AV, 028 Super Fleece Air Filter

This kit has a fine fuel filter and pre-gapped plug. I am not as impressed with the air filter. It is obviously not as stout as OEM. There is no steel mesh to reinforce the fleece portions. I suspect this should still be ok as long as you are careful and run the saw with the cover. The real issue is the choke flap; the spring is quite weak and allows to flap to wiggle freely. This can be a real problem for tuning and consistent running. A solution can be to replace the spring with the one from the OEM filter. That is inconvenient due to it's tiny size, but it can be made to work right. ¶ Im sorry you were not satisfied with your purchase. We have sold hundreds of air filter without any issues. Great kit for the cost. The spark plug was gapped properly. The only issue is the filter. It has a center screw that I need to remove in order for my cover to fit. I assume it was for a latter model 028 Stihl saw.

Installed easy. Chain saw started right up.

Good quality product. Bosch Spark plug, air filter is way better than stock material
