not sure how it works i need another hand to use it to hold the tach hold the wire pull the start rope, igh!
it take two people to use it ¶ Richard I'm sorry you are having problems with our tachometer. We use it at our repair center everyday with one hand by looping the micro clip to the unit and clipping it to the spark plug wire. Simple to use and seems to be accurate. I like this tach as it can be turned off, unlike others that stay on. Customer service was excellent to deal with and took care of the problems I had with my 1st order. Great company to work with.

Digital 2cycle engine meter
The unit works fine and as advertised but I just wanted the tachometer for multiple engine tuning but the added functions are kinda neat just more button pushing than I prefer. ¶ Thank you for purchasing our 3 in 1 unit.
