COMPLETE THE REBUILD — DON'T STOP AT THE PISTON
A piston replacement is one of the most involved repairs you can do on a chainsaw. Since you already have the engine apart, this is the perfect time to refresh all the parts that wear together. Missing any of these leads to a callback repair:
- Carburetor (often the reason for low compression in the first place)
- - Air Filter HD2 (must be cleaned or replaced after any engine rebuild)
- - Spark Plug NGK CMR6H (mandatory after any top-end service)
- - Service Tune-Up Kit (includes all gaskets, filter, and plug needed)
- - Cylinder Piston Kit Nikasil (premium upgrade if you want full cylinder replacement)
